Robert Hall – COO
Robert has been the COO of Blue Chip Facility Services for the past 25 years, and is more passionate than ever about not only meeting, but exceeding his customers expectations by taking pride in every detail of his operation. Robert states his favorite part about serving in this industry is:
I get tremendous amount of satisfaction in being able to help our clients achieve and exceed their sanitation goals for their employees, as well as creating an aesthetically pleasing environment. Additionally, it’s a fun and rewarding process being able to assist customers by utilizing creative, solution oriented thinking, so that they can meet their budgetary guidelines without sacrificing the highest standards of a clean and aesthetically pleasing environment. It’s also fascinating to be able to tour a variety of facilities, in various industries, and witness the innovative manufacturing processes they employ throughout a wide array of product lines.”
Robert is a native North Carolinian, born and raised in Southeastern NC. In his limited spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife Angela of 15 years, and 4 children ranging in age from 23 years old to 8 months, plus his 2 dogs (a Jack Russel and Brindle Dachshund). Besides family time, Robert loves to watch football as well as coach fast pitch softball, which he’s been doing at various nationally competitive levels for almost 20 years now. Oh, and be sure to ask Robert about his prior motorcycle drag racing days if you want a few interesting stories..
Jeff Allen Jr. – Regional Manager
Jeff graduated from East Carolina University (ECU) as a licensed real estate appraiser, but has been in the custodial services industry for the past 8 years. While being an integral part of the Blue Chip facility Services team since early 2017. Jeff’s favorite part about the custodial services profession is:
Most definitely the people.. I enjoy meeting new people and either helping them to better themselves (if they are staff), or regardless of being staff, getting to know them on a more personal level. I like the idea that even if I were to pass tomorrow, someone out there would remember me.”
In his free time, Jeff’s true passion is spending time with his 17 year old daughter and his two cats. Some of his hobbies are taking care of his 110 gallon terrarium and all of the various inhabitants of it, including fish, reptiles, various amphibians, snails, insects, and a variety of crustaceans. He also loves a good book on the weekends, fishing, hunting, and of course, college football (go ECU Pirates).
Dan Smith – Regional Manager
Dan received both his BA and MBA from Touro University International (TUI), but perhaps his greatest educational experience was from his career traveling the world with the US Air Force. After retiring from the Air Force in 2009, Dan joined the environmental services industry, which eventually led him to become a key member of our team since 2013. Dan says his favorite part about the facility services industry is:
I enjoy working with people and especially mentoring them, building teams that work well together. I love the diversity of challenges I face with the job from hiring, training, building morale and working closely with customers. I appreciate the satisfaction of knowing the determined efforts of the staff do indeed pay off with happy, satisfied, long term customers who continue to do business with us year in and year out.”
In his spare time, Dan enjoys spending time with his wife of nearly 20 years, Aliana, and 3 children. Besides spending quality time with his family, Dan enjoys being a “tinkerer.” He likes taking things apart to find out what makes them work, then putting them back together. So if you ever need any electronic equipment, computers, cell phones, tablets, etc. repaired, Dan is your man! He’s also big fan of learning about the history of the world and our great nation in particular. As well as enjoys being an active member of his Church community.
